Scientific research and technology transfer are the two fields at all time high on the University's agenda. As is typical of an institution for basic sciences, our program encompasses a wide spectrum of research areas and relates to all leading-edge studies currently conducted by its faculties and departments.

The University is highly committed to channeling its efforts into the cutting-edge fields of Information Technology, Biotechnology, Materials Science, Environmental Science as well as science technology applications to production and life.

Scientific research has been a valuable milieu for exchange and cooperation between the faculty and scientists worldwide. This has triggered research and educational ties with international universities and research institutes.

With its exceptional education and research environment, the University of Science attracts top-quality students. In order to enhance its research capability, the university has been supported by the VNU and Government to construct research laboratories.
