Undergraduate programs

The University of Science offers programs of general, advanced, and specialized study in all academic disciplines,  various professional and applied fields. It's already built up on foundation of credit eduational system . It is flexibly conductive to give student more options to schedule their plans of studies. The student has to achieve 210 credits included with 90 credits for basic major fields and 120 credits for optional advanced areas of concentration . Generally the student spends up 36 months of completion undergradute program to get  BSc Degree.

Master's Degree

At the graduate level, the University offers master's degrees in 32 areas of concentration namely:

    The graduate has to accomplish 70-80 credits and defend his/her thesis in front of a department panel within 2-3 years. The successful student will be awarded an MSc.degree.

    Doctoral Degree

    The doctoral program is offered in completion within 4-5 academic years for Honor BSc Holders (recorded with excellent marks ≥ 8.0) and  02-03 academic years for MSc Holders (recorded with very good marks) .

    Firstly, the candidate must conduct 03 research projects which are evently announced or published in Science Presses; secondly it is well defended successfully against the PhD Council's dissertation . At the end the project is prepared for defense against The National Doctoral Council dissertation before he (she) is  finalized for PhD degree grant.

One of ten most remarkable educational events in 2005 was approval of the project "Renovation of university education in Vietnam". With the 15 year strategies (2006-2020), the purpose of the project is to raise Vietnamese university education to advanced level in the area and to approach the advanced level of the world.
